Engagement or Social Media Engagement
Engagement on social media, is your social currency and it measures your likes and shares on Social Media Channels. You know you have it when the items you post get re-tweeted, favorited, shared, pinned, followed, and/or commented on any of the social media channels. A few such channels are Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pintrest, Google+, Instagram, and many others.
What factors into engagement is really a lot more complicated than this simple definition.
